Earth is being bombarded by a strange worldwide snowstorm, but this is not ordinary snow. It's actually made up of intelligent microorganisms designed to drain energy from machines and robots. Only a super robot like Astroboy can remain active, but even he can't fight off the most sinister of these energy leeching creatures known as the "Snow Lion".
